Answers to the questions most frequently asked by project holders and organisations contacting us for the first time.
We work with institutional actors, NGOs, foundations, chambers of commerce and professional organisations that carry projects with a Europe-Africa dimension. Our clients are generally organisations with a certain level of organisational maturity, seeking high-level support to structure, formalise or oversee a complex project.
Strategic scoping & diagnostic is an initial engagement (2 to 4 weeks) to clarify whether your project is ready to launch and under what conditions. It produces an analysis, recommendations and a roadmap.
Partnership structuring comes into play when you need to formalise an agreement with one or more partners: documentary preparation, institutional readiness, MoUs, funding applications.
The retainer is a fixed-term mandate (generally 3 to 12 months) to ensure strategic continuity and operational coordination of an ongoing project.
Our primary expertise covers Sub-Saharan Africa, with in-depth knowledge of West Africa (Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria) and Central Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon). We also work on projects in East and Southern Africa depending on context.
We primarily support institutional, associative and development-oriented organisations. We occasionally work with private companies when their project falls within a cooperation or partnership framework with African or European institutional actors.
After receiving your contact form, we respond within 24 to 48 business hours. The exploratory conversation (20 to 30 minutes, by video call) aims to understand your project, your challenges and what you expect from external support. It allows us to identify whether and how we can help, and to direct you towards the most appropriate service.
No. We support projects at very different stages, including initiatives that are not yet well-formalised. Part of our value lies precisely in giving form and coherence to vague intentions. What matters is that you have a sufficiently clear sense of the problem you are trying to solve or the objective you are pursuing.
The vast majority of our mandates are conducted remotely (video calls, document sharing, collaborative tools). Travel is considered for retainer mandates or when field contact is essential to the quality of the assignment. We are based in Paris.
A scoping diagnostic produces concrete deliverables within 2 to 4 weeks. A partnership structuring mandate generally takes 4 to 8 weeks. Retainer mandates are by nature longer (3 to 12 months) but produce interim results at regular intervals. We commit to a precise timeline from the start of the mandate.
Our fees are set on a fixed-fee basis, using a personalised proposal that takes into account the nature of the mandate, its duration, complexity and the type of client organisation. We do not charge by the hour. Each proposal is submitted after the exploratory conversation and details the precise scope, deliverables and payment terms.
Yes. We are accustomed to working within projects co-financed by European institutions, bilateral agencies or foundations. Depending on the funding conditions, we can be identified as an external service provider in the project budget.
Yes, without reservation. All our engagements include a confidentiality clause. We never disclose client names or project details. Our public references are systematically anonymised, as illustrated in the cases described on this site.
Contact us and describe your situation. Our scoping diagnostics have been designed to be accessible to smaller organisations. We assess each situation on a case-by-case basis and always look for the solution most proportionate to your needs and resources.
If you don't find the answer to your question, describe your situation in the contact form. We respond to all qualified enquiries within 24 to 48 business hours.
